Contribute your sightings!

You can help monitor birds and other biodiversity in your region by sharing your sightings:

eBird:

• Create a free account on eBird.org 
• Contribute your bird sightings or checklists (on eBird mobile App or website) by entering the time, location, and notes. 
• Keep track of your bird lists over the years while doing your part to increase knowledge on bird distribution in your area.
• Explore bird sightings by locations around you, discover birding hotspots, range maps for bird species, etc. 

iNaturalist:

• Create a free account on iNaturalist.ca 
• Go outside and take a photo of any living organism (plant, tree, insect, bird, spider, butterfly, frog, mammal, etc) and submit it with the mobile App or the website (you don't need to know the correct species name; other users will be happy to add suggestions!)
• Your observations help expand the knowledge on local biodiversity, and will contribute to various projects like "Biodiversity of Cochrane District", "Ontario Butterfly Atlas", etc.
